Partners interface

Partners is the address book for customers you invoice. Open it from the sidebar. Cards you save here can prefill seller and buyer fields on the document form. See Partners.

Open Partners

  1. Sign in and select the organisation.
  2. Open Partners in the sidebar.

List

The table columns:

Column What it shows
Name Partner name (click to open)
Partner Types Badge, typically Customer
Peppol ID Endpoint as scheme:value when both are set
Country Country from the default address

You can search, filter by type, sort, and page. If there are no partners yet, the table shows There are no partners yet.

Create Partner opens a blank form.

In Actions: View / Edit or Delete. Delete asks for confirmation and cannot be undone.

Create or edit

  1. Click Create Partner, or open an existing row.
  2. Fill the sections below. Name and at least one Partner Type are required.
  3. Click Create Partner or Save Changes.

The type you can choose in this form is Customer (outbound buyer). The organisation’s own party is edited under Organisation, not here.

Basic Information

Name, optional trading name, partner type.

Identification

Optional identifiers copied onto the invoice party:

Field Typical use
Identification scheme / value Party identifier (ICD scheme)
Legal registration scheme / value Company registration
Endpoint scheme / value Peppol participant ID (recipient when you send)
VAT ID e.g. DE123456789
Tax ID Local tax number

Addresses, Contacts, Payment Details

Each group can have several rows. Mark one row Default — that is the row used when you pick the partner on an invoice.

  • Addresses — lines, city, postal code, state/province, country (ISO 2-letter code).
  • Contacts — name, phone, email.
  • Payment details — account name, IBAN, BIC.

Use Add Address / Add Contact / Add Payment Detail for extra rows.

Additional Data

Optional extra fields (key/value), for example a Buyer Reference stored with the customer.

Use a partner on an invoice

  1. Open DocumentsOutboundCreate (or edit a document).
  2. In the buyer (customer) section, choose the partner from the list.
  3. Name, address, identifiers, endpoint, and default payment details are copied into the form.
  4. Change anything that should be different on this invoice, then save.

Clearing the partner selection returns the party fields to manual entry. Saved documents are not updated if you later edit the partner card.

See Create documents.
