Interfaces
Interfaces groups machine access for the organisation: API, SFTP, and mailboxes. Open Manage → Interfaces in the sidebar.
These screens are configuration. How to send and receive is in the guides linked below.
API configuration
Interfaces → API Configuration.
Create and delete API keys. After you create a key, the secret is shown once — copy it. Assign the methods the key may call (documents, formats, transactions, Peppol lookup, and so on).
Call logs are not on this page. Open Usage → API logs. See Usage and Setup.
SFTP configuration
Interfaces → SFTP Configuration.
Enable SFTP, set a password, then use Host, Port, and Username from the page. Upload XML, PDF, or CSV to the upload folder. See Send and receive via SFTP.
Test Connection and Change Password are on the same page.
Mailbox configuration
Interfaces → Mailbox Configuration.
The page has two tabs — Inbound and Outbound. Each tab can have its own mailbox and address:

Create the address for the selected tab, copy it, optionally restrict senders with a whitelist, and test the connection. Personalized outbound suggestions use a .outbound tag so the address differs from inbound. xTool checks active mailboxes about every 30 minutes. See Receive by email.
Outgoing invoice email to a business partner is not configured here. Use Channels → Email → Custom SMTP and Email templates, then Send by email.
