Documents interface

The Documents section is where you view, create, upload, edit, and send documents (invoices and credit notes). See Document model and Creating documents.

Inbound and outbound

  • Inbound — Documents that were received (e.g. via Peppol). They appear in Documents → Inbound.
  • Outbound — Documents you created or uploaded and can send. They appear in Documents → Outbound.

The list can be filtered by direction. See Receive by Peppol and Document model.

List view

Documents list

The document list is shown in a table with columns: number, issue date, format, status, direction, sender/recipient. Filters by direction, status, period, and search are available, plus sorting and pagination. From the list you can open a document and, when applicable, perform quick actions (send, delete). See Status lifecycle.

Create and upload

  • Create — Use the “Create” action, choose format and direction, fill in the unified form (header, line items, totals, optional). Submit to create the document. See Creating documents and Formats.
  • Upload — Use the “Upload” action, choose an XML file, and if needed select or detect the format. Submit to create the document. See Creating documents.

Document details (view)

Document details

When you open a document you see tabs or sections: Summary (metadata), PDF (view or download), XML (view or download), History (status log and/or related transactions). See Document model and Status lifecycle.

Actions (from details)

From document details you can: Edit, Send by Peppol (recipient from metadata), Send by email, Delete, Download PDF. See Send by Peppol and Send by email.

Duplicates

If the system detects that a document may be a duplicate (same business key), it may show duplicate information (e.g. DuplicatesNotification or duplicate_ids). This helps avoid sending the same invoice twice. See Document model.
